Legal
Privacy notice
Placeholder. This is a first-draft notice written before launch. It will be reviewed by a Thai-qualified lawyer and updated, including the legal entity details, before Kao Jai opens to the public.
The short version
- Your documents are yours. We use them only to decode them for you.
- We never sell your data or use your documents for advertising.
- You can delete any document, or your whole account, at any time.
- We handle personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).
What we collect right now
Before launch, the only thing we collect is the email address you give us when you join the waitlist, along with the date you joined, which form you used, your browser language and your approximate country (from our hosting provider). We use it only to tell you when Kao Jai opens and to send your free first-document invitation.
What we’ll collect when the app launches
The documents you upload, the results we produce, your questions in “Ask about this document”, and basic account and billing details. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest and processed only to provide the service to you.
Who processes your data
We use trusted providers for hosting (Cloudflare), payments (Stripe) and document processing. Some may process data outside Thailand, with appropriate safeguards as required by the PDPA.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To leave the waitlist, reply to any email from us and we’ll remove you.
Contact
Contact details for our data controller will be published here before launch.
